Subsea UK Subsea Cable Conference

Cable Route in NM19.3.18 - RUCO will be exhibiting at the Subsea Uk Subsea Cable Confernce in Aberdeen on the 26.3.18. On display will be the EIVA Cable Route Planning software, which is part of NaviModel 4.2.

The subsea cable industry sector has seen significant growth in recent years as the offshore energy industry evolves and brings opportunity and technical challenge to the cable community.

Offshore wind projects have increased in scale and are being developed in more extreme environments where deeper water, seabed conditions and weather present many challenges. Marine power projects bring other issues to deal with such as strong tidal currents and small operating windows for installation and intervention.

This conference aims to bring the subsea cable community together to discuss the market opportunity, project developments and technological challenges for the industry, including failure analysis and repair of subsea cables.

Hear from the Industry Experts as they come together to share their experience and knowledge as well as look at the future market opportunity. Vessel owners will share their views on technical requirements and drivers for efficiency as well as investigate the latest vessel specifications. Survey data will be discussed to bring an understanding on the importance of accurate data and how it plays an important part in the planning stages, installation & operational phase as well as the removal of seabed infrastructure. Understanding the how cables are protected through burial and other methods. What are the main causes for subsea cables to fail, how can they be monitored, are there preventative measures and can they be repaired?

We hope to see you there.
