ABP Southampton purchase 5th ADX XR

ABP Southampton has recently placed an order for it's fifth AD Navigation ADX XR PPU to add to the units purchased in 2013. As one of the country’s busiest and most successful deep-water ports, Southampton is a natural choice for a wide range of customers and trades, with facilities to handle virtually any type of cargo. Its natural deep-water harbour and unique double tide allow unrestricted access for the world’s largest vessels. ABP Southampton provides VTS & pilotage services throughout Southampton Water and much of the Central & Eastern Solent. As such, saftey of navigation is paramount in the Port and the ADX XR PPU is adding to this saftey by giving the Pilot's, who are moving the largest vessels, an additional aid to navigation that is independant of the vessels navigation eauipment and charts.
